Key skills and experience:
- Good buyer, procurement, purchasing experience
- CIPS qualification ideally level 3, CIPS membership, supply chain qualifications
- Good systems experience, ERP, MRP, SAP or similar
- Experience and knowledge of imports, exports, freight, customs clearance (advantageous)
- Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills
- Experience of procurement processes within engineering, manufacturing or technical industries, ideally or similar
