As our Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will oversee daily maintenance functions, optimize equipment performance, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Reduce downtime by responding to production breakdowns in a safe and timely manner.
- Complete the preventive maintenance schedule and close work orders on the CMMS.
- Work at height in our automated warehouse, with full safety training provided.
- Implement equipment improvements and install new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and uphold a safety-first culture.
- Conduct daily and weekly compliance checks.
- Collaborate closely with other maintenance engineers and the maintenance manager as part of a continental shift team.
Qualifications
- Experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical focus (or mechanical as well).
- Previous manufacturing industry experience (plastics preferred).
- Knowledge of the 17th/18th edition electrical regulations (preferred).
- Level 3 diploma in electrical installations or equivalent qualifications.
- Willingness to work on a continental shift basis.
- Apprentice training or equivalent experience acceptable.
