Shift Pattern: Continental (4on/4off), 12-hour shifts, days & nights

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager

Are you an experienced manufacturing and maintenance professional eager to make an impact at a fast-growing, industry-leading company? Hold a level 3 diploma in electrical installations or equivalent and ideally qualified in 17th/18th electrical regulations? Whether you are an experienced multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias or recently qualified as an apprentice or equivalent training then this role could be for you!

The Opportunity

As our Shift Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance functions, optimizing equipment performance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Working continental shift patterns, you'll work closely as a team supporting other Maintenance Engineers, the Senior Maintenance Engineers and the Maintenance Manager.

What you'll do:

  • Perform both planned & reactive maintenance tasks as well as contributing towards continuous improvement activities.
  • Reduce downtime by reacting to production breakdowns in a safe and timely manner.
  • Complete the PPM schedule & closing down work orders on the CMMS.
  • Work at height in our automated warehouse.
  • Installation of New equipment.
  • Compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Safety first.
  • Complete daily & weekly compliant checks.

This role requires you to be comfortable with working at height. Full training will be given for you to perform this task safely.

The ideal candidate:

  • Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical & Mechanical
  • Previous manufacturing industry experience (Plastics preferred)
  • Ideally 17th/18th Edition electrical regulations qualified.
  • Qualifications – Level 3 diploma in electrical installations or equivalent
  • MUST be willing to work on a continental shift basis.
  • Apprentice trained or equivalent.
