Are you an IT Business System Support person who thrives in a varied, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We are looking for a proactive and adaptable IT & Business Systems Support professional to join our global team at A‑SAFE. In this role, you will provide first and second line support to colleagues across multiple international locations, ensuring our hardware, software, and business systems run smoothly. You will play a key part in maintaining operations, supporting both local and global users, while contributing to the ongoing innovation of our digital environment.
How you will make an impact:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for IT and business system issues across the organisation, ensuring timely resolution in line with agreed SLAs.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests, escalating complex issues to 3rd line support or external vendors where required.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls across core systems (e.g. Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and business applications).
- Support end‑to‑end device lifecycle management, including provisioning, onboarding, offboarding, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems (Windows 11 and iOS), and associated software.
- Install, manage, and support mobile devices, including phones and data‑enabled devices.
- Provide support for key business systems, including troubleshooting user issues, resolving data inconsistencies, and supporting system integrations.
- Assist with system configuration, upgrades, testing (UAT), and change deployments in collaboration with internal teams and third‑party vendors.
- Maintain and support integrations between systems to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including technical procedures, system configurations, and knowledge base articles.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and system changes to support reporting and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems, tools, and best practice usage.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication on issues, updates, and changes.
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies, standards, and best practices, maintaining a strong security‑first mindset.
- Identify and escalate potential security risks or incidents to the Cyber Security team as appropriate.
- Support data governance and data quality initiatives across business systems.
- Administer software licensing, ensuring compliance, version control, and optimisation of usage.
- Procure IT hardware and software in line with business requirements, managing stock levels and maintaining accurate asset records.
- Monitor system performance, activity, and capacity, proactively identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.
What we are looking for:
- Hands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory environments.
- Proven experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support or IT & Business Systems support role.
- Experience supporting business systems (e.g. HRIS, CRM, ERP) and working with third‑party vendors.
- Demonstrable experience managing user lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, access management).
- Experience supporting hardware, mobile devices, and end‑user computing environments.
- Exposure to system upgrades, UAT testing, and change deployments.
- Experience working within structured support environments using ticketing systems and SLAs.
Technical Skills:
- CRM, ERP and or operational systems.
- Experience with ITSM tool.
- Active Directory / Entra ID (user/group management, permissions).
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Endpoint management (Intune, Group Policy, device builds, patching).
- SLAs and prioritisation models.
- Diagnose issues across multiple systems.
- Security best practices.
- Knowledge base articles.
