The Opportunity
As Production Supervisor you will be required to support the Shift Manager in the operation & performance of the team whilst on shift. You will ensure that all goods are manufactured to the required quality standards, correctly packaged and labelled with correct quantities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assess any quality/production problems & solving these where possible
- Ensure all workstations are set up correctly and correct SOP documentation is displayed
- Ensure the transfer of all finished goods in a timely manner to the correct storage location ready for shipping
- Maintaining 5S and ensuring that housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Experienced shift supervisor in a production / manufacturing setting
- Able to read & understand basic technical drawings to check items are manufactured correctly.
- Good understanding of the production standards and ensuring these are achieved
- Understanding & compliance with company policies & procedures.
- Good verbal & written communication skills
