A-SAFE is a global leader in workplace safety solutions, pioneering innovations that protect people, assets and infrastructure. We are looking for a Quality Lead to join our Group QSHE team and play a pivotal role in driving quality excellence across our operations.
The Opportunity
As Quality Lead, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Quality department, ensuring alignment with our ISO 9001-accredited Quality Management System. You’ll work closely with the Head of Group QSHE to deliver continuous improvement, maintain compliance, and support the successful introduction of new products into the business.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and improve the company’s ISO 9001 accreditation and Quality Management System
- Lead and manage the Quality department to meet company objectives
- Oversee the introduction of new products in line with quality standards
- Drive and monitor Quality KPIs
- Manage internal audit schedules and non-conformance systems (C.A.R)
- Implement and monitor problem-solving methodologies (e.g. ISHIKAWA, 8D, 5 WHY)
- Lead a team of QA Inspectors and Quality Engineers
What You’ll Bring
You’ll be an experienced quality professional with a strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and a proven track record in leading quality teams. You’ll be confident in generating and reviewing quality documentation and applying structured problem-solving techniques.
Essential Skills & Experience
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor trained
- Experience with Quality Control Plans, FMEA, FAI & NPI
- Strong problem-solving skills (ISHIKAWA, 8D, 5 WHY)
- Proven team management experience
- Collaborative and team-focused approach
- Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills
