Marketing Lead Role
A RUM FELLOW are looking for a dynamic Marketing Lead to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and business growth. In this role, you will develop, implement and oversee marketing strategies ensuring alignment with our objectives, collaborating closely with sales and design teams to create compelling marketing initiatives, delivering engaging events at our London showroom, manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and contribute to overall business strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, with a flare for delivering impactful and innovative marketing results. Interiors market knowledge is valued, but not essential.

A RUM FELLOW is a UK design studio dedicated to the design and production of handcrafted rugs and textiles. Balancing a contemporary creative vision with artisanal production methods we produce inhouse collections and bespoke designs for the luxury interiors market in the UK and worldwide. Led by Caroline Lindsell and Dylan O’Shea, a partnership that fuses a desire for beautifully crafted and well-travelled design befitting a contemporary lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for ARF and broader business objectives and brand vision.
- Contribute to the continued development of our brand guidelines, act as brand guardian and ensure consistent visual identity and messaging across all channels.
- Supporting the sales team to enhance client experience and engagement.
- Coordinate marketing activities and timelines.
Content Creation & Digital Presence
- Create and oversee compelling content for all digital and printed marketing materials, including copywriting for press releases, blog posts, email marketing, and social media.
- Manage website content and user experience to ensure alignment with the brand.
- Work with an existing network of designers, videographers and printers to enhance content and marketing output.
- Manage social media channels, developing engaging content to grow our audience and reach.
Event Planning & Community Engagement
- Working closely with the design and sales team, plan and execute marketing events, including tradeshows, showroom activations, and pop-ups, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Manage global showrooms (EU & USA) and visual merchandising to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
- Work closely with PR agents and contribute to PR strategy development.
- Foster industry relationships and build a strong community presence.
Planning & Performance
- Set marketing KPIs, track performance, and adjust strategies to optimise results.
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
- Research and develop strategies for market expansion and growth.
Key Qualities

Experience:
- Proven ability to manage multiple aspects of marketing, from strategy, content creation, printed materials, through to PR, events, and social media.
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Experience working with PR agencies, media, and creative partners.
- Experience in planning and executing events, pop-ups, and trade shows to elevate the brand’s visibility.
- Experience managing showroom promotions and visual merchandising, ensuring a cohesive brand experience.
- Understanding of the luxury interiors market, trends, and customer behavior.
Technical skills:
- Strong content creation and editing skills, including copywriting, basic video production and graphic design.
- Proficient in email marketing, website management, and performance analytics.
- Strong budget and project management skills.
- Ability to set marketing KPIs and track performance to measure success.
- Excellent networking skills to build relationships within the design industry.

The role is based in our studio in Frome, Somerset, the role will also entail days in the London showroom and participation at trade shows and brand events. This is not a remote role.
