We are looking to appoint a Year 5 primary school teacher at a local primary school in Aylesbury. The successful candidate will be committed and dedicated to children's learning and available full time. The role is initially for the Autumn term, however there is scope for the candidate to be offered a permanent contract from January 2026 or continue on a long term contract if preferred. The role includes full classroom responsibilities; planning, preparation (PPA time will be given) and marking for which you will be paid to scale.
The requirements: As the successful Year 5 Primary School Teacher you will need to:
- Be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT), Early Careers Teacher (ECT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
- MUST have Qualified Teacher Status
- Minimum of 6 months experience within a UK primary school
- Have the ability and experience of teaching at primary level
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Have strong organisational skills
- Be able to use your own initiative as well as being able to work as part of a team
- Be flexible
- Reliable and contactable
