We are working with a combined primary school in central Aylesbury who require a full time LSA/TA for Summer Term 2. The role is full time, working 1:1 within Key Stage 2.

Please note that a Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification isn't necessary; however, previous experience working with primary aged children within an education setting is compulsory! Full time only!

The school is very supportive and there is scope for the role to continue for September 2025.

The requirements:

  • Have a Level 2/Level 3 NVQ or a minimum of 6 months experience in working within an education setting as a Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse
  • Be engaging and flexible as needed
  • Able to deal with challenging behaviour
  • Have a patient, creative approach
  • Have experience working with SEND needs
  • Be able to use your own initiative as well as being able to work as part of a team
  • Undertake a full registration interview including DBS and reference checks
