Pay: From £14.50p/h + Bonuses
We are looking to recruit experienced and professional HGV drivers.
Working Hours / Schedule: Dayshift - Friday with alternating Saturdays
Outline of role:
- Class 2 driver consisting of Hiab/Grab vehicles, with the opportunity to cross train on Chain lifts, Hook loaders, Tippers and Bin lorries
- Be able to conduct mandatory pre use, during, post checks & report any defects as applicable
- Completing necessary paperwork/documentation accurately, including waste & delivery notes, use of a PDA / Tablet system to access & completions of work
- Assist in loading, securing & unloading
- Adhere to company driving policy & procedures
- Manual handling, working at height & banksman duties as required
- Willing to undertake familiarisation training on different company assets
- Adhere to delivery schedule & routes whilst adhering to a high level of professionalism & customer service
- Taking pride in company assets ensuring they are cleaned, maintained, roadworthy in accordance with both statutory requirements, company policy & procedures
Salary: Starting rate from £14.50 p/h + Bonuses
Due to insurance purposes the above rates are applicable to drivers over 25 years of age and a minimum of 2 years' experience.
Benefits:
- Unsociable hours & over 40 hours bonus paid at an additional £2.50 p/h

Licence/Certification:
- Hold a valid driving licence (category C essential)
- Due to insurance purposes are over the age of 25 & minimum of 2 years (advantageous but will consider for the right applicant)
- Hold a valid & in date Digital Tacho Card & Driver Certificate Professional Competence Card
Experience:
- Previous experience within the waste/recycling industry is advantageous
- HIAB/Grab experience (advantageous but will consider training for the right candidate)
- Plant Operator (advantageous but will consider training for the right candidate)
