A Regulated Industry Organisation is looking for various Category Managers, as part of a large transformation programme they are currently going through to manage two high-profile and complex categories for the business. The main objective of this role is to manage a portfolio of high profile and complex categories for the business, setting and deploying category strategies.
You will:
- Develop and deploy a category strategy for a portfolio of assigned categories.
- Write and present category strategies, running end to end tenders.
- Manage stakeholders internally, ensuring they are bought into the category strategy.
- Lead innovations across categories, running supplier workshops.
- Lead sustainability initiatives across categories.

Category spends range from £10m to £100m+ per annum. Full support and guidance provided at Category Manager level, category plan templates are provided. No direct reports.
Candidate Requirements
You will currently be working as a category manager looking for a new challenge, or as an experienced category buyer who is looking for career progression. Ideally, you will have 3+ years strategy category management experience from any industry; however, they are also open to seeing candidates with less experience due to the training and support that is provided. You must have a demonstrable track record of successfully creating category plans and running complex or high-profile tenders from cradle to grave.
