A Leading Construction PLC is looking to recruit a Category Manager on an initial 6 month fixed term contract to manage the re-tender of a high profile fleet contract.
Key duties will include:
- Initially meet with Head of Fleet and Fleet Managers to understand requirements from new suppliers.
- Identify new suppliers, then create and issue ITTs.
- Run the tender and create balanced scorecards, presenting options to Director level stakeholders.
- Manage the contract award, and mobilise the handover to the existing fleet team.
- Likely to be extending a further 3-6 months to support the contract once it has gone live.
