A Leading Infrastructure Contractor is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor & Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Luton. The main objective for this role is to manage the assigned commercial activities across a highways term maintenance contract.
You will:
- Manage subcontractor and direct labour activities across framework projects.
- Draft and award NEC3 contracts to subcontractors.
- Manage the inputting and claiming of completed work orders across hundreds of live jobs.
- Manage compensation events and change across NEC3 contracts.
- Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor with completing CVRs for the framework.
- Measure and price a wide variety of jobs, visiting sites when required.
- Manage payments and create payment applications.

Delivering a portfolio of highway maintenance services as part of a Term Maintenance Contract for a Local County Council. All projects are delivered under NEC 3 contracts.
Candidate Requirements:
- Our client is looking for Assistant Quantity Surveyors or Quantity Surveyors with 2+ years of experience delivering infrastructure projects or frameworks.
- Must have experience in highways, utilities, rail or FM projects across the infrastructure sector.
- Some experience operating in a high-volume, low-value framework or multi-project environment.
- Must have some experience in drafting NEC contracts, pulling together the scopes, schedules and presenting for approval.
