A Leading Construction Contractor is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team in Warrington to support a small project buying team.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for materials.
- Lead the operational buying of materials and plant across national construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with preferred supplier agreements and maximise the use of frameworks.
- Delivery stakeholder requirements, acting as a key link between project teams and the supply chain.
- Ensure procurement strategies are aligned with company procedures.
- Support work winning teams with sourcing material quotes for bids.
- Support with strategic procurement and category management activities.
- Deliver value for money, and support the successful delivery of cost savings and rebates.
