We are looking for a Carpenter to join us on a fixed-term contract for our upcoming Spring 2026 season. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to come on board and effectively build the scenic elements for performances of 18 brand new productions across our Spring season for performances at Òran Mór and on tour across Scotland.
This role would suit an enthusiastic, responsible and highly motivated individual with initiative who will relish the unique nature of A Play, a Pie and a Pint and working in a fast-paced environment.
Our workshop and storage facilities are based in Glasgow city centre and are set up with a build space and workroom that is stocked with basic tools and supplies.
The contract would begin on Monday 9 February 2026 and end on Friday 26 July 2026 inclusive, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate would be expected to work two 8 hour days each week, with flexibility in regards to how those hours can be spread across the week.
This is a weekly paid position at a rate of £170 per day for a total of 40 days: £6800.
