About the role: At OLIVER, we’re looking for an ambitious, hands-on analytics leader to build and deliver best-in-class, next generation data capabilities. As Head of Analytics, you’ll be at the centre of architecting and delivering new SME-driven capabilities – across social and audience analytics, creative optimisation, and marketing effectiveness – working side-by-side with our central hub of specialists. You’ll combine building and deploying the analytics roadmap with finding and piloting new opportunities to put these capabilities into action for clients. Partnering with internal and client-facing teams, you’ll pitch, deliver, and scale solutions that make a tangible difference – while helping raise the bar for analytics quality and technical skills across OLIVER.

What you will be doing:

  • Hands-On Technical Leadership: Play a key hands-on role in developing, prototyping, and embedding advanced analytics and GenAI-powered solutions, ensuring OLIVER stays ahead in AI-driven marketing. Build and deploy advanced analytics and predictive modelling solutions for client and business challenges, leveraging statistical methods, machine learning, and GenAI where appropriate. Serve as an SME for key products, providing technical guidance, use-case development, and evangelism of outputs.
  • Product Integration & Capability Acceleration: Act as the product integrator and accelerator, working hand-in-hand with your team of specialist SMEs to build, enhance, and deploy new capabilities at speed. Take ownership for delivering the analytics roadmap: architect solutions, pilot innovations, and grow product adoption and attachment rates, scaling solutions across OLIVER clients and teams.
  • Innovation & Commercial Impact: Proactively identify, test, and validate early-stage product and solution opportunities, always with a focus on improving commercial outcomes and data-driven growth. Support pitches and solution development with internal and client teams, bringing new analytics innovations directly into market-facing activity.
  • Brandtech Group Integration: Actively bring relevant tools, technologies, and approaches from The Brandtech Group into OLIVER, ensuring seamless integration, enhanced efficiency, and the best possible analytics impact for our clients.
  • Capability Development & Community Uplift: Collaborate with regional and client data leads to upskill, mentor, and embed best-in-class practice within the broader OLIVER analytics community. Help drive a culture of experimentation, high technical standards, and responsible data practices – ensuring analytics excellence and privacy by design is the norm across OLIVER teams.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Strong technical builder: You thrive on rolling up your sleeves to scope, develop, and launch new analytics and GenAI solutions.
  • Modelling and analytics expertise: Hands-on experience with advanced analytics, predictive modelling, and statistical analysis using modern toolsets and programming languages.
  • GenAI and automation expertise: Demonstrated practical experience with GenAI / LLM-powered analytics, modern cloud and analytics platforms, and leading automation / integration tools.
  • Hands-on track record: Direct experience architecting, prototyping, and embedding advanced analytics, especially in social, audience, creative, and marketing effectiveness use cases.
  • Commercial and product mindset: Driven to develop analytics solutions that deliver real business value.
  • Curiosity for “what’s next”: Constantly scanning for new technologies and industry trends.
  • Player-coach approach: Able to lead by example while upskilling, supporting, and inspiring analytics specialists.
  • Influence, resilience, and collaboration: Comfortable gaining consensus and building partnerships at all levels.
  • Champion ethical analytics: Committed to privacy by design, secure data practices, and upholding OLIVER’s standards for responsible analytics.

Our values shape everything we do: Be Ambitious to succeed, Be Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible, Be Inspirational to do groundbreaking work, Be always learning and listening to understand, Be Results-focused to exceed expectations, Be actively pro-inclusive and anti-racist across our community, clients and creations.
