Job Title: Fence Erector Location: Preston (PR4 4JY) Salary: £13 – £16 per hour, depending on experience Job Type: Full time, Permanent. A P Broome Landscapes Ltd is a successful, growing commercial grounds maintenance company based in Preston, Lancashire. The company has been established for over 50 years and holds multi-million-pound contracts covering the whole of the UK, specialising in blue chip utilities. We are currently looking to recruit a fence erector in the Preston area to carry out work nationwide. About the Role: This job role will entail carrying out a variety of fencing works across our client contract. The candidate will be working as part of a two-person operations team supported by our dedicated contract teams based in Preston. Essential Criteria: Full UK Driving Licence is crucial Experience in a wide variety of fencing operations with a key focus on Palisade fencing Experience in HSG47 digging around live cables Experience in welding and fabrication Experience and knowledge of strict H&S operations and its practical implications Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team A minimum of 2 years fencing experienceDesirable Criteria: CAT & Genny (HSG47) using cable avoidance tools SPEN Authorisation (training can be provided) Manual Handling certification First Aid certificationWe offer a competitive salary (dependent upon qualifications and experience).
