A P Broome Landscapes Ltd is a successful, growing commercial grounds maintenance company based in Preston, Lancashire. The company has been established for over 50 years and holds multi-million-pound contracts covering the whole of the UK, specialising in blue chip utilities.
We are currently looking to recruit a fence erector/fabricator in the Ayrshire area to carry out work across the awarded districts.
About the Role:
This job role will entail carrying out a variety of fencing works across our client contract. The candidate will be working as part of a two-person operations team supported by our dedicated contract teams based in Kilmarnock.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a wide variety of fencing operations with a key focus on Palisade fencing.
- Experience in HSG47 digging around live cables.
- Experience in welding and fabrication.
- Experience and knowledge of strict H&S operations and its practical implications.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team.
- A minimum of 2 years fencing experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Criteria:
- CAT & Genny (HSG47) using cable avoidance tools.
- SPEN Authorisation (training can be provided).
- Manual Handling certification.
- First Aid certification.
