Our client based in Sittingbourne & Maidstone are currently looking for part time weekend Class 1 Drivers. The role will entail:
- Refrigerated distribution across a variety of locations.
- Delivering to RDCs and collections to and from farms.
- The shifts are on average 10 to 12 hours long.
- Some flexibility for start times as they may vary.
- Mainly a driving role with minimal handling of the load.
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Full Class 1 Driving licence (minimum of 1 year Class 1 experience).
- Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
- No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR).
- Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving.
- Good roadcraft/Geographical knowledge.
Shifts are available over a seven day period Sunday to Saturday with the following shift bands:
- Morning start times 01.00 - 11.00 hours
- Afternoon start times 12.00 - 18.00 hours
- Night shift start times 19.00+ hours to midnight
Our client offers long term work between Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. All candidates are required to pass our clients assessment prior to commencing which includes a written and practical driving test. (2-3-hour assessments are being held between Monday to Friday on days/nights)
Pay Rates:
- Days - £17.12 p.h. Monday to Friday.
- Nights - £18.25 p.h. Monday to Friday.
- Saturday Day £20.50 p.h./ Night £21.22 p.h.
- Sunday +
