The predicted salary is between 13 - 25 £ per hour.
Our client based in Sittingbourne are currently looking for Class 1 Drivers. The role will entail:
- Refrigerated distribution across a variety of locations.
- Delivering to RDCs and collections to and from farms.
- The shifts are on average 10 to 12 hours long.
- Some flexibility for start times as they may vary.
- Mainly a driving role with minimal handling of the load.
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Full Class 1 Driving licence (minimum of 1 year Class 1 experience).
- Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
- No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR).
- Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving.
- Good roadcraft/Geographical knowledge.
Shifts available are predominantly Friday, Saturday & Sunday, with ad-hoc shifts available during the working week:
- Day start times 01.00 hours to 05.00 hours.
- Afternoon start times 14.00 to 18.00 hours.
- Night shift start times 19.00 hours to midnight.
Our client offers long term work and can offer hours to suit on a part-time basis. All candidates are required to pass our clients assessment prior to commencing which includes a written and practical driving test. (3-hour assessments are being held between Monday to Friday on days/nights)
Pay Rates:
- Days - £16.70 p.h. (Monday to Friday).
- Nights - £17.80 p.h. (Monday to Friday).
- Saturday Day £20.00 p.h./ Night £20.70 p.h.
- Sunday + Bank Holiday Day £23.62 p.h./ Nights £25.87 p.h.
Newer Drivers to the industry with at least 1 year Class 1 experience are welcome to apply.
