About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join our clients busy pallet network warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-paced operation where reliability, safety and efficiency are key.
Working within a busy warehouse environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth loading and unloading of palletised freight while maintaining high standards of accuracy and health & safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Moving palletised goods around the warehouse safely and efficiently
- Scanning, checking, and accurately locating freight
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Ensuring vehicles are loaded in line with company procedures
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working to deadlines within a fast-paced pallet network operation
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
- Previous experience working within a warehouse or pallet network environment
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, time-sensitive environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
