The successful Customer Service Administrator Apprentice will join a small, busy commercial team within AN Wallis & Co Ltd. You'll develop organisational skills, learn to multitask and proactively resolve customer queries at high standards. You'll process orders, manage enquiries/complaints, coordinate deliveries, monitor stock availability, and ensure customers receive timely communication, with full training and support.
Wage: £15,392 to £24,454.04, depending on your age National Minimum Wage
Training course: Business administrator (level 3)
Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 (60min lunch). Friday 08:30 to 16:00 (30min lunch). 37 hours a week
Duration: 1 year 6 months
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands‑on experience.
What you'll do at work:
- Handle customer enquiries by telephone and email.
- Process customer orders accurately using internal systems.
- Assist with progressing deliveries and following up on delays.
- Help manage stock availability and customer orders.
- Keep customers updated on the progress of their orders.
- Liaise with procurement and production teams to obtain order updates.
- Record and support the resolution of customer queries and complaints.
- Produce reports and maintain spreadsheets to support the team.
- Develop excellent customer service, communication and administration skills.
- Work as part of a supportive team while completing your apprenticeship.

Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor and training will be planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet the individual needs of the apprentice. Off‑the‑job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the Occupational Standard. On‑the‑job and off‑the‑job training will be delivered in the workplace.
GCSE in: Maths (grade 4 - 9)
