We currently have six depots and are the sole IVECO dealer group in Scotland. Additionally, we also represent Ford, Fiat and Maxus commercial vehicle franchises.
We are currently recruiting for a Prep / PDI Technician / Mechanic for our dedicated Prep Centre in Forfar.
THE ROLEThe overall purpose of the role is to carry out general maintenance and repair work on a range of light commercial vehicles to a high standard. This will be from within our franchise sectors but may also cover other makes of commercial vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge with a dynamic and rapidly growing company.
THE PERSONAre you a car technician looking to expand your experience into the big world of Commercial vehicles or an experienced LCV Technician who's ready to take on the next step in their career?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles.
- Preparing used vehicles for resale, including basic mechanical checks and repairs.
- Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
- Supporting the wider workshop team as needed.
- A good level of technical knowledge, ability and experience in the mechanical repair of commercial vehicles.
- Ability to organise own workload, work on own initiative and to strict deadlines.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
- A current full driving Licence.
- PC skills and proficiency are preferable.
