AM Phillip Trucktech is a family business that has been trading for almost 70 years and is Scotland\’s leading commercial vehicle specialist.
We currently have six depots and are the sole IVECO dealer group in Scotland. Additionally, we also represent Ford, Fiat, and Maxus commercial vehicle franchises.
We are currently recruiting an experienced Parts Advisor to join our busy parts department in Broxburn.
This is an office-based role requiring prior knowledge and understanding of the automotive stores/parts department environment, experience in ordering parts, customer service, and the allocation of items to and from the shop floor. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a new challenge with a dynamic and rapidly growing company.
The working pattern is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, alternating between early and late shifts covering the department from 6 am to 6 pm. Saturday mornings will also be worked on a rota basis and paid at overtime rate.
THE PERSON
The successful candidate will work within a dedicated team, providing original and aftermarket parts support to a customer base of commercial vehicle operators and small businesses. Responsibilities include providing parts support to our busy workshop, communicating with customers to determine requirements, identifying parts, producing quotations, and supplying parts for various jobs. You will accurately process customer and workshop orders, assist colleagues with goods in, parcel dispatch, serving on customer counters, and warehouse duties. Participation in the department’s annual stock take is also required.
