We are currently recruiting for a PDI / Prep Technician for ourPrep Centre inForfar
The Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and reliablePrep Technicianto join our team. If you take pride in high-quality workmanship, enjoy hands-on tasks, and prefer a role focused on consistent, practical work rather than major engine or warranty repairs, this could be the ideal job for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles.
- Preparing used vehicles for resale, including basic mechanical checks and repairs.
- Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
- Supporting the wider workshop team as needed
About You
- Takes pride in becoming a respected expert in your field through quality, repeatable workmanship
- Prefers a steady workload without major engine or warranty repairs
- Knowledge in auto electrics desirable but not essential
- Previous mechanical experience working on cars or light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
