We are a leading, award-winning UK commercial vehicle dealership group representing the Full Iveco range of Commercial Vehicles. With an established reputation for exceptional fleet and retail delivery, we pride ourselves on placing our transport clients at the heart of our operations. Due to the increased demand of our heavy truck and alternative‑fuel fleets, we are seeking a driven sales professional to join our team.
The Role
As a Commercial Truck Sales Executive, you will manage the complete B2B sales lifecycle for new and used Commercial vehicles (HGVs). You will split your time between our regional dealership and out in the field establishing key territory accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow Client Pipeline: Proactively identify and convert business opportunities within corporate fleets and regional logistics operators.
- Consultative Value Selling: Build bespoke asset solutions based on vehicle payload, chassis requirements, and lifecycle costs.
- Relationship Management: Nurture long‑term partnerships with transport managers to secure ongoing fleet replacement cycles.
- Dealership Excellence: Oversee vehicle handovers, handle complex funding/contract lease packages, and track ordering specifications directly with manufacturers.
- Market Awareness: Participate in industry events, local fleet business briefings, and key promotional activities.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven B2B Sales Track Record: Vehicle sales experience—heavy truck, LCV, body‑building, or aftersales backgrounds are highly desirable.
- Target‑Driven Focus: A demonstrable history of hitting financial gross profit and unit delivery targets.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort navigating complex commercial regulations, finance packages, and vehicle specifications.
- Elite Communication: Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills suited to negotiating at Director level.
- Licence Requirements: A valid, clean UK driving licence is mandatory; an active HGV Class 1 or 2 licence is an advantage.
