Gammies Groundcare Forfar (Part of A. M. Phillip) is recruiting for a Trainee Parts Assistant.

The Role

We are currently recruiting a Trainee Parts Assistant for our depot in Forfar. This role is ideal for anyone with previous customer service experience and a passion for mechanics and parts who is keen to learn more. No two days are the same. This role is within our parts department, where you will be identifying and sourcing parts for our external customers and our internal departments, dealing with counter sales, internal goods, and customer inquiries. With a wide area of responsibilities, we are looking for someone confident in working independently and as part of a team, with a pleasant manner and demeanour and great customer service skills. Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred; full training will be provided, and you will be supported throughout by our existing parts manager and supervisor.

All the equipment we supply is fully assembled, and on handover to our customer, we advise and instruct on the correct use and maintenance. We are always available post-sale to help with any queries you may have. After-sales support is a major part of our commitment. Our staff are trained by the manufacturers of the equipment we supply. So, when you require service and support from us, you can expect the very best advice and support available.
