The Role

We are currently recruiting a semi-skilled machinery assembler to join our team at our depot in Forfar. Flexibility on a part-time or full-time basis.

This is an interesting role working within our workshop to assemble and PDI a large variety of machines including tractors, lawnmowers, Groundcare equipment, ATVs, UTVs and more.

From delivery of goods in and out you will manage a section of our Workshop, including unloading and loading lorries and machinery storage maintenance. This role will primarily consist of the assembly of new machinery to the specifications of customers, PDI (pre-delivery inspection) and the testing of newly built machinery.

The Company

We specialise in supplying Horticultural and Agricultural Machinery, Spare Parts, Accessories and Service to fulfil our customer’s requirements. Giving advice and making sure you have the right machine for the task you require is our prime aim and should a visit to our premises be required to do this – “No Problem”.

All the equipment we supply is fully assembled and on handover to our customer we advise and instruct on the correct use and maintenance. We are always available post sale to help with any queries you may have.

Aftersales support is a major part of our commitment. Our staff are trained by the manufacturers of the equipment we supply. So, when you require service and support from us, you can expect the very best advice and support available.

The Person

The role is based at our Depot in Forfar, candidates must be able to work on their own and as part of a team with the ability to communicate at all levels.

Experience/Skills

Training is available for this role for the right candidate. Key attributes and skills include:

  • Some mechanical knowledge or interest
  • Organizational & time management skills
  • Ability to work in a safety-conscious manner.
  • Driving License
