Key roles and responsibilities:
- Supporting the menswear designers and senior designers to create and develop original design ideas, concepts, embroideries, fabrications and seasonal themes
- Sourcing of relevant fabrics to meet the design requirements
- Creating specs/tech packs for factories
- Ensuring critical path is adhered to, and keep on top of all key dates
- Liaising with factories and overseas offices
- Creating relationships with buyers
- Participating in inspiration and sourcing trips
- Trend packs /colour inspiration
- Supporting with team approvals and administration
About You:
- Graduate, educated to degree level with a minimum 2.1 degree in Fashion or other related subject, or equivalent practical experience
- 1-2 year experience in menswear multiproduct would be an advantage
- A good understanding of Illustrator and/or Photoshop is desirable
- Creative and trend-driven with a good eye for colour and fabric
- Attentive to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team player and able to build relationships
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Manage challenges in a calm and positive manner
