We are currently recruiting for 3 Temporary Customer Service Agents to join a busy customer-focused team based in East Grinstead.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a confident telephone manner who enjoys speaking with customers, providing updates and keeping people informed.
You will be making a high volume of outbound calls, so excellent communication skills and a calm, professional approach are essential.
Key responsibilities will include
- Making regular outbound calls to customers and providing clear, professional updates.
- Gathering accurate information from internal teams regarding progress, timescales, outstanding requirements and potential delays.
- Managing customer expectations and explaining information clearly and sensitively.
- Handling customer queries and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
- Identifying potential complaints or dissatisfaction and escalating these appropriately.
- Accurately recording all calls, conversations, actions and agreed follow-ups on internal systems.
- Building positive working relationships with operational teams and colleagues.
- Managing a busy workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.
We are looking for candidates who have
- Previous experience in customer service, contact centre, call handling, service adviser or another telephone-based role.
- A confident, professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Excellent listening and questioning skills.
- The ability to explain information clearly and manage potentially difficult conversations.
- Strong written accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with delays, uncertainty or customer concerns.
- Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and customer management systems.
- A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approach.
