Are you an experienced sales professional who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships and driving business growth?
We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven
Regional Sales Manager to join a growing business within the construction sector.
This is a hands‑on, field‑based role where you will spend your time engaging with customers face‑to‑face, building awareness of the brand and encouraging customers to visit local trade stores.
Unlike a traditional account management position, you won't be tied to a fixed portfolio of customers.
Instead, you'll play a key role in supporting trade stores across your region, identifying opportunities and helping to drive footfall, sales and overall regional performance.
As a Regional Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include
- Visiting customer sites across your region and building strong relationships through regular face‑to‑face engagement.
- Promoting the brand, products, catalogues and current promotions.
- Encouraging customers to visit local trade stores and helping to increase footfall and sales.
- Supporting smaller and developing customer accounts, ensuring no opportunity is overlooked.
- Working towards and contributing to regional sales and turnover targets.
- Helping local trade stores achieve their monthly sales targets.
- Identifying new business opportunities and passing potential customers to the Business Development team for qualification and follow‑up.
- Visiting new and prospective customers as directed to maximise opportunities within your region.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer enquiries and quotations are handled efficiently and followed up.
- Supporting trade events, promotional activities and customer engagement initiatives within stores.
- Balancing independent field‑based work with collaboration across the wider commercial and store teams.
About You
We're looking for someone who is proactive, personable and enjoys getting out and meeting customers.
You'll be confident building relationships with a wide range of businesses and will understand the importance of smaller customers and the role they can play in long‑term sales growth.
You will ideally have
A UK Drivers License.
- Proven experience in a field sales, regional sales or business development role.
- A strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A proactive and self‑motivated approach to winning and developing business.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- A target‑driven and commercially focused mindset.
- A strong knowledge and understanding of the construction industry.
What's on Offer?
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to make a real impact within their region.
You'll have the freedom to build relationships, uncover new opportunities and play a key role in driving customer engagement and sales growth.
If you're passionate about sales, enjoy being out in the field and want a role where you can genuinely make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
