THE COMPANY: Our client was formed in 2003 by a dedicated engineer who wanted to create the best Laser Cutting service offering quality cut products on European stock material at competitive rates. This was to be backed by a ‘second-to-none’ Customer focus assisting with product design, planning, cutting and delivery across the UK.

Typical Duties for the Press Brake Operative based in Preston:

- Set up and operate press brake machinery and related equipment.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic workspace.
- Inspect products, make corrections and ensure quality.
- Measure, align, and position materials.

THE CANDIDATE: Experience would be an advantage, but not necessary as full in-house training will be given to the right candidate, a forklift truck licence would be an advantage. The successful Press Brake Operative must be able to work to tight deadlines and work within a team. Our client is looking for candidates that are reliable, hardworking with a ‘can do’ attitude to the working day.
