We’re looking for a light vehicle service manager/master technician to bring their expertise, leadership, and passion to our thriving garage. The successful applicant will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for reliable vehicle servicing and repairs.
What you will do
- This is a dual role opportunity for someone who loves rolling up their sleeves whilst steering a team of 5 technicians.
- You’ll be the go to person ensuring the garage operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering top-notch technical service.
- Be hands on with exceptional mechanical skills (being able to transfer technical knowledge to a team member and not necessarily doing the complicated jobs).
- Lead with excellence, organise bookings, assign jobs and oversee quality of work.
- Keeping the day to day running smoothly working with the other 2 members of the management team.
- Motivate the team, effective communicator and capable of training junior technicians to guide their progression in the business.
- Ensuring happy customers: deliver exceptional customer service with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and addressing any client inquiries/issues promptly.
- Manage resources, making sure the team has what it needs to succeed.
What we are looking for

- An experienced problem solver with exceptional knowledge.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification, MOT tester an advantage, expertise in diagnostics, and a solid understanding of tools and repair processes.
