The Role
This is a varied position combining warehouse duties with customer deliveries.
You'll be responsible for ensuring products are picked, loaded and delivered safely while providing a professional service to customers.
No two days are the same, and when you're not out on deliveries, you'll be supporting the warehouse operation to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Deliver products to customer sites across your designated route.
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers.
- Pick, locate and prepare products accurately for dispatch.
- Plan efficient delivery routes.
- Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle documentation accurately.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Monitor delivery requests and updates where required.
- Support warehouse operations during quieter delivery periods.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse and yard.
- Participate in training and follow company procedures at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is
- A confident and reliable driver with a full manual UK driving licence (held for at least 3 years).
- Aged 21 or over (due to insurance requirements).
- Practical, hardworking and enjoys a hands on role.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional and customer focused.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A Forklift Truck (FLT) licence would be an advantage, but is not essential.
