Are you an organised, customer-focused events professional who enjoys creating outstanding experiences for clients and guests? We are looking for an experienced Meeting & Events Coordinator to join a busy and professional events team, coordinating a diverse range of conferences, meetings, training sessions and private events. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, building strong client relationships and taking ownership of events from the initial booking right through to successful delivery. You will be a key point of contact for clients, working closely with internal operational teams to ensure every event runs smoothly, while also identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and generate additional revenue. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate meetings and events from initial booking through to delivery and post-event follow-up. * Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring all requirements are understood and delivered. * Confirm event details including timings, room layouts, catering, dietary requirements, AV requirements and any special requests. * Conduct client site visits and attend pre-event meetings and briefings where required. * Ensure accurate and detailed event documentation is maintained and communicated to the relevant teams. * Work closely with reception, operations, kitchen, accommodation and AV teams to ensure events are fully prepared and delivered to a high standard. * Provide on-site support for larger, high-profile or complex events, resolving any issues quickly and professionally. * Identify opportunities to upsell additional services such as AV, accommodation, catering enhancements and social packages. * Support the sales team with enquiries and converting opportunities into confirmed bookings. * Maintain accurate event schedules, CRM records and booking documentation. * Attend operational and sales meetings to review upcoming events and identify any potential challenges. * Follow up with clients after events to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. * Consistently deliver a professional, welcoming and high-quality customer experience. About You We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and genuinely enjoys working with people. You will ideally have: * Previous experience in events, conferences, hospitality, meetings or a similar customer-facing coordination role. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple events and priorities at the same time. * Excellent attention to detail. * Confidence dealing with clients, guests and internal teams at all levels. * A proactive and solutions-focused approach. * Commercial awareness and the confidence to identify opportunities to upsell additional services. * The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment. * A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
