My client is looking for a Deputy Reception Manager to join their professional and friendly team to assist and ensure the Reception department is manned efficiently and effectively. The right candidate must be able to maintain the highest level of service delivery throughout the operation and ensure customer expectations are met and where possible exceeded.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Reception Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To be aware of and to comply with company and legal requirements including health, safety and hygiene.
- To ensure that departmental procedures and work instructions are implemented and maintained and that any changes are communicated effectively.
- To ensure that team members receive ongoing training & development in order to meet both the business and personal development objectives.
- To assist with and rota staff in the absence of the Reception Manager according to business requirements.
- To ensure that all related shifts are conducted efficiently and effectively in order to meet customer requirements.
- To ensure that all relevant information is efficiently communicated to all departments within the Centre.
- To process all end of month invoices and liaise with Meetings and Events team to ensure all charges are accurate and all revenue is correct for each event.
- To assist with the responsibility for student smart card processing and ensure all information is accurate for the accounts department.
- To assist with the responsibility for maintaining equipment in the reception department and to report any faults as required.
- To maintain and where necessary, improve standards with particular emphasis on customer service.
- To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by Head Receptionist or Centre Manager.
