The Group Marketing Communications Executive will support the development of marketing and communication campaigns across the Group using various platforms such as the website, social media and internal intranet. You will play a pivotal part in developing and delivering clear, consistent, and engaging marketing and communication content across external and internal channels.
Reporting into the Group Marketing Communications function, you will work at the heart of a global organisation, helping to craft content and campaigns that connect with customers, engage our teams, and reinforce our brand as an industry leader. You will work closely with our regional teams to support and align their local marketing initiatives with global brand guidelines and values. You will contribute to a wide variety of ad hoc marketing projects that span the full marketing mix, engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Reports to: Group Marketing Communications Manager
Principal Place of Work: This is a hybrid role with a standard work pattern of two days per week in the A‑Gas head office in Portishead with occasional travel to other sites or suppliers as required.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications
- Essential:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, or related subject
- Knowledge and experience in social media and digital marketing (2-3+ years)
- Experience of running corporate social media channels
- Experience of website content administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint with basic Excel skills
- Design experience (Canva, Adobe)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Team player with a positive attitude to new tasks and experiences
- Experience of working with Umbraco CMS
- Design skills; knowledge and use of creative software packages such as InDesign, Photoshop or similar
- Video editing experience
