Contract and Working Pattern: Hybrid, permanent

Responsibilities

  • Production Planning: Build and manage the 13-week third-party production plan based on resource capacity.
  • Material Management: Ensuring materials are available JIT to meet production requirements at third party manufacturers.
  • Finished Goods Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to align with warehouse capacity and minimise slow-moving (SLOB) stock.
  • Product Lifecycles: Support NPD/EPD processes and production projects with third-party manufacturers.
  • S&OP Support: Facilitate monthly planning clinics to identify and escape long-range capacity risks.
  • Stock Deployment: Coordinate primary stock movements with logistics and customer service teams.
  • Team Backup: Build strong stakeholder relationships and deputise for the Planning Manager when required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supply planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/DRP/ERP systems and stock deployment techniques.
  • Advanced IT skills, specifically using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, manage risks, and maintain production flows.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Willingness to travel to third-party manufacturing locations and AG Barr sites.

  • Prior experience working directly with third-party manufacturers (3PM).
  • Experience supporting the supply element within an S&OP cycle.
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and professional development.
