Responsibilities
- Lead the consolidated month-end reporting, forecasting and annual budget process for the Balance Sheet and Cashflow (and associated metrics).
- Lead monthly review meetings with relevant stakeholders, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Own the business working capital optimisation project including ongoing tracking and idea generation.
- Monitor Return on Capital Employed (ROCE), a key strategic measure for the business.
- Lead the financial modelling for our end to end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to support the Senior Leadership team in the making of strategic decisions.
- Perform relevant planning, analysis and reporting activities to deliver the group’s Capital Allocation strategy.
- Prepare critical technical assessments including Viability & Going Concern and Impairment reviews.
- Support the Corporate Finance Director to deliver the business’ Investor Relations calendar and deliverables.
- Key resource for delivering ad hoc Finance projects for the group, undertaking a variety of business focused and Finance functional projects.
- Business partner the Capital Projects team to ensure clear and accurate spend reporting and forecasting.
- Support the Head of Strategic Projects with the preparation of the 5 year capital plan and capital budget.
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant with 3+ years PQE.
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge, with experience of PLC reporting desirable.
- Strong financial planning and analysis skills.
- Some experience of financial modelling desirable.
- Project management experience preferable.
- Experience of building great working relationships with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
