What we’re looking for… As a Continuous Improvement Facilitator, you will be the heartbeat of our "Brilliance in the Making" journey. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk; you will be the face of positive change across our Cumbernauld site. You’ll blend your technical expertise with natural charisma to inspire teams, smash silos, and move the needle on our safety and quality goals. Your responsibilities will include…

  • Driving the Roadmap: Facilitate the "Brilliance in the Making" framework, leading focused improvement projects that deliver tangible results.
  • Root Cause Resolution: Move beyond "quick fixes" to implement "100-year fixes," coaching shop floor teams in situational problem‑solving.
  • Empowering Teams: Support and coach teams to ensure action plans and roadmaps are delivered on time and with full ownership.
  • Building Capability: Deliver high-impact training across all levels, from Technical Operators to Production Managers, ensuring CI tools are understood and utilised.
  • Tiered Accountability: Foster a culture of ownership by facilitating everything from Short Interval Control to Daily Operations Reviews.
  • Data‑Led Decision Making: Use site data to identify performance gaps and prioritize the most impactful improvement opportunities.
  • Standardization: Partner with Technical Training Facilitators to validate SOPs, ensuring every improvement is documented and locked in.

What you’ll bring…

  • Proven CI Experience: A solid track record of facilitating continuous improvement tools and methodologies within a manufacturing environment.
  • Influential Communication: The "gravitas" to engage effectively at all levels, from the factory floor to senior management.
  • Project Leadership: Experience acting as a "completer‑finisher," taking complex projects from initial ambiguity to sustainable completion.
  • Analytical Mindset: The ability to interpret data accurately to drive decisions and spot discrepancies with ease.
  • Coaching Prowess: A passion for people development and the ability to deliver engaging training sessions to diverse audiences.

And it would also be great if you can demonstrate:

  • Experience with using a continuous improvement framework (i.e. TRACC) or similar digital CI maturity frameworks.
  • Creative Problem Solving: A history of building frameworks and standards where none previously existed.
