Sub Agent / Site Agent / Assistant Project Manager Civils, Highways and Infrastructure Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire Suitable locations: Didcot, Abingdon, Oxford, Wantage, Wallingford, Newbury, Reading, Bicester, Swindon, Henley-on-Thames, Witney, Aylesbury, High Wycombe and surrounding areas Salary: £50,000 £65,000 plus package Package: PAYE role, pension, commercial vehicle and fuel card or car allowance plus mileage, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 2-week Christmas shutdown, training and long-term progression We are recruiting for a Sub Agent or Site Agent to join a privately owned groundworks and civil engineering subcontractor on a live scheme in Didcot. The business has been around for a long time, has steady relationships with Tier 1 contractors, and works across non-residential civils, highways, infrastructure, foundations, drainage, roads, groundworks and site preparation projects. The work is varied, usually up to around £4m in value, and the company still has a smaller, family-run feel rather than feeling too corporate. This would suit a Sub Agent who has worked up from an engineering background, or someone in an Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager-type role who still enjoys being close to the work on site.
