£70,000 + Car Allowance £5000 Full Time | Site Based | 37.5 hours per week within a 7.30am-5.30pm working window (Teams typically work 8.30am-5.00pm, with site operatives starting and finishing earlier).

About the Client:

Our client is a long-established, family-owned construction business with over 150 years of history, delivering high-quality projects across commercial, education, industrial, heritage and leisure sectors. They operate across the Home Counties, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire and North London, delivering projects through two divisions: Small Works & Frameworks (up to £1m) and Main Contracts (up to £15m). They are now seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of projects across their portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with senior management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
  • Develop detailed project plans and revise them as requirements evolve
  • Allocate project tasks based on staff skills, experience and strengths
  • Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery
  • Compile and submit project status reports to clients, management and stakeholders
  • Work effectively with all relevant stakeholders to support efficient project implementation
  • Provide strong leadership, customer relations and communication across all project interfaces

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols
  • Familiarity with industry ISO standards
  • Confident communicator with clients and stakeholders across varied sectors
  • Leadership capability
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • In-date CSCS card supported by a recognised qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND, degree or equivalent)
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • HNC in Construction Management (or equivalent), or qualified by experience

Vetting:

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Employment is subject to satisfactory security screening where required by the client. Some projects may require DBS, BPSS, or client-specific security clearance. Candidates must be able to provide information necessary to complete the vetting process, including verification of employment and address history. Successful applicants must maintain any security clearance required for the projects they are assigned to.

Salary & Package: £70,000 depending on experience, Car allowance.
