This is an excellent chance for a Trainee Project Manager to join a successful and fast-growing roofing contractor. Specialising in both pitched and flat roofing projects across the UK, the company has grown rapidly since launching in 2018 and continues to expand its operational team.
Working predominantly within the public sector, they pride themselves on understanding client needs and delivering tailored roofing solutions for each project.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a motivated Trainee Project Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes.
The Role β Trainee Project Manager
Based at the head office in Milton Keynes, you will support the Project Management team across 6-8 live roofing projects at any one time. You will work closely with a Senior Project Manager who will provide full training, guidance, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside a Senior Project Manager to plan and deliver roofing projects from start to finish
- Help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality
- Support the smooth running of day-to-day operations across multiple construction sites
- Attend weekly or biweekly site visits for pre-start meetings, training sessions, and progress reviews
- Assist with project documentation, scheduling, and communication with clients and subcontractors
About You β Applicant Requirements
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent)
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Self-motivated and able to work using your own initiative
- Experience in roofing
