A growing faades and external-envelope contractor is seeking a Site Manager to support the delivery of live projects across cladding, SFS, roofing, fire-remediation and wider external-envelope packages. The role is split between office and site, working closely with the Project and Site Management teams to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality delivery. The business delivers high-performance faade solutions for commercial, residential and public-sector schemes across the UK. The wider group is established, successful and expanding, with the faades division already achieving strong turnover and long-term growth. This role suits someone with strong faades/external-envelope experience who is ready to step into site management. You do not need extensive Site Manager experience; the team can mould and train the right person. A clean driving licence is essential, and candidates should live within roughly one hour of Milton Keynes.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + package, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily site operations
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, deliveries and site logistics
- Carry out site inspections, snagging and progress checks
- Maintain health & safety standards and ensure compliance with site procedures
- Assist with RAMS, permits, daily records and site documentation
- Monitor quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications
- Communicate with project teams, suppliers and contractors
- Help manage short-term planning, sequencing and programme support
- Attend site meetings and assist with follow-up actions
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Full training provided, with support from experienced managers.
