We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a civil engineering and groundworks subcontractor. This family-owned subcontractor is based in Hemel Hempstead and works for major civil engineering contractors on projects in the South East, London and the Midlands.
The Role:
- You will be based at their main office in Hemel Hempstead with site visits within 1 hour of their office.
- Oversee full commercial aspects of 3-4 projects – change management, cost tracking, forecasts, applications, measures.
- Assist with general business-wide commercial activities.
- Assist with tendering/estimating.
- Oversee trainee QS.
Candidates will require:
- Min 7 years as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Civils & groundworks experience – ideally non-residential.
Package:
- Full time.
- Working hours negotiable.
- Salary £65-70,000.
- Car allowance.
- Laptop/phone included.
- 25 days holiday/pension etc. included.
