Senior Contracts Manager – Fit Out

A dynamic fit-out and construction company in Northampton is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to be based at their office in Northampton with site visits.

With 25 years of experience, our client delivers high-specification fit-out and construction projects across the UK. They are a Principal Contractor specializing in commercial interiors, retail interiors, high-end retail, restaurants, hospitality, and exhibitions.

The largest project to date was £16 million, with current projects ranging from £1-4 million. They operate nationwide, so willingness to travel is required.

The role:

This is a key role created due to company growth and the need to streamline the business. The successful candidate will be keen to progress to board level.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing multiple projects from pre-construction to completion
  2. Managing directly employed labor and subcontractors to deliver projects within budget and schedule
  3. Using Microsoft Project to develop programmes and project plans
  4. Developing and implementing contract management strategies and processes
  5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
  6. Reporting to the Operations Director based at Head Office

The ideal candidate:

Will be an experienced Contracts Manager with a proven track record in fast-paced schemes within a comparable sector. Driven, ambitious, and eager to progress.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
