A rare opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor with a well‑earned reputation for delivering complex schemes within a variety of sectors, including commercial, community, healthcare, hospitality, education, defence, and retail.
You will be part of a successful and growing team of nine Quantity Surveyors and will work on prestigious projects.
The Role
Although office‑based, you will conduct site visits and perform the full Quantity Surveying function on two projects that are about to commence: a £4 m school extension/refurbishment under the NEC contract near Bedford, and a £2 m JCT contract to extend an existing Premier Inn in High Wycombe.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, excluding residential house building.
- Experience in new build and refurbishment projects.
- Ability to build strong working relationships.
- Strong IT and communication skills.
- Capacity to work to tight deadlines under pressure.
Working hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
