Role Overview:
Reporting to a Senior Manager, the Project Manager will oversee a range of construction and refurbishment projects from inception to completion. You will ensure projects run efficiently, safely, profitably and in full compliance with contract requirements and Health & Safety legislation. The role involves coordinating site teams, subcontractors and clients, managing programmes, budgets and materials, preparing reports and valuations, supporting junior staff and maintaining high standards of quality and communication throughout.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver projects from start to finish
- Manage and support site teams and junior managers
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with H&S and CDM
- Attend site meetings and maintain strong client communication
- Prepare reports, programmes, valuations and final accounts
- Assist with tenders and estimating when required
- Monitor profitability and ensure timely material procurement
- Approve invoices and maintain accurate project records
Hours:
Full‑time, 42 hours per week Mon–Thu: 07:45–17:15 Fri: 07:45–16:45 Some travel and occasional working away required.
