The company is seeking an Assistant Design Coordinator to support the delivery of design information across both pre‑construction and live projects. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background—such as an Architectural Technician, Junior Design Coordinator, or similar—who is ready to take the next step.
Key Responsibilities- Support the coordination of design information from concept through to detailed design
- Assist in managing information flow between consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
- Help produce cost‑effective design solutions aligned with programme and construction deadlines
- Contribute to value engineering exercises to improve buildability and client outcomes
- Assist in preparing design programmes and information release schedules
- Attend design team meetings and gain exposure to site‑based coordination
- Support projects across sectors including education, commercial, leisure, retail, distribution and healthcare
- HNC/HND/BA/BSc in Construction Management, Architectural Technology, Architecture, Design or a related field
- Some experience in a design‑related or technical construction role
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- UK driving licence
