The businesses deliver roofing, cladding, facades and wider construction schemes across multiple sectors, offering genuine variety and exposure to different project types. This role suits a proactive health and safety professional who enjoys influencing best practice, shaping standards and working closely with senior leadership, site teams and clients. You'll play a key part in strengthening safety performance and driving continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead health, safety and compliance strategy across roofing, cladding and construction operations
- Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews across multiple companies
- Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions
- Develop and review policies, procedures and risk management systems
- Provide guidance to managers, site teams and subcontractors
- Deliver training, toolbox talks and safety awareness initiatives
- Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards and client requirements
- Produce reports, analyse trends and present recommendations

- Experience as a Health and Safety Manager, SHEQ Manager, HSQE Manager or similar
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
- Experience conducting audits, inspections and investigations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to influence teams at all levels
- Strong organisational and reporting skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
